Directions
to St. Barnabas Road
By Air
The closest airport is Stansted Airport, from
where there are direct trains or coaches to
Cambridge.
From
London Heathrow or Gatwick airports there
are direct coaches to Cambridge. Trains from
London Kings Cross station are the fastest
and most direct to Cambridge. Liverpool Street
Station trains are also direct but slower.
From Cambridge Train Station
Walk down Station Road in front of you as
you leave the station. Take the first turning
on your right into Tenison Road. Turn right
again at the second set of traffic lights
onto St. Barnabas Road. No 56 is two thirds
of the way down on the right hand side.
From
Drummer Street Bus/Coach Station
Walk
along Drummer Street away from the bus station
with your back to the city center . Cross
over into Parker Street. The large green of
Parker’s Piece will be on your right.
Continue straight on past both sets of traffic
lights into Mill Road and past the City swimming
pool. Continue straight on down Mill Road
until you see the large church of St. Barnabas
on your right. Turn right there onto St. Barnabas
Road, No 56 is about 150 metres on the left
hand side.
By Car
From the north: A14 (A1) or Exit from M11
at Junction 13 onto A1303.
From the south: A10 from London or Exit from
M11 at Junction 11 and join the A10, or exit
at Junction 12 and join the A603.
From the east: Exit from the A14 at Junction
35 onto A1303.
From the west: from the M11 exit at Junction
12 and join the A603. or from the A14 exit
at Junction 31.
Once
in Cambridge
Once you have exited from any of the above,
follow signs towards the Cambridge City and
then to the Train Station. Drive down Station
Road and take the first turning on the left
into Tenison Road. Then turn right at the
second set of traffic lights into St. Barnabas
Road. Number 56 is two thirds down on the
right hand side. NB: Access into St. Barnabas
Road is via Tenison Road. It is not possible
from Mill Road.
